Locksmith FAQs
Emergency lockout assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Planned repairs, upgrades and other non-emergency work can be arranged separately.
No. Shinobi Locksmiths does not charge a separate callout fee.
Where circumstances allow, non-destructive entry is always attempted first. Drilling or other destructive methods are treated as a last resort where the lock or mechanism cannot reasonably be opened non-destructively.
Shinobi Locksmiths is based in Glastonbury, and also covers Street, Wells, Cheddar, Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, Shepton Mallet, Castle Cary, and surrounding rural areas. However, if you are unsure whether you are within this service area, or are located further afield, please do not hesitate to contact me for enquiries.
My response time will naturally depend on my current location and whether I am dealing with another customer. When you call, I will always endeavour to give you a realistic estimate of my arrival time. If you call me and I am unable to assist in a timely fashion due to prior job commitments, or would be unreasonably delayed due to dealing with another emergency lockout, I will tell you and provide contact details for other trusted local locksmiths. I would rather recommend another local locksmith than promise a response time I cannot realistically keep.
Yes. I undertake diagnosis and repair of common uPVC and multipoint locking problems, including gearbox failure, mechanism replacement and door-alignment issues.
